If you own a Garmin®
Global Positioning System (GPS) device which supports loading of "MPS" files containing waypoints, then this page is for you. We
have prepared three levels of waypoint file, Basic, Advanced and Advanced Plus. Limited support for other formats is also available.
CAVEAT: The use of GPS data for navigation does not replace the necessity to use the correct maps during the hike. GPS data is
provided for information only and no guarantees are implied to its suitability.

Advanced
All the checkpoints plus numerous additional waypoints for increased accuracy - includes crossing points on major highways. Route details defined for Senior, Explorer and Junior routes. Suitable for most Garmin GPS units (excluding GPS100 series and panel-mounted aviation units). |
Advanced Plus All the data that is included in the Advanced, plus includes references to maps that can be loaded if you have MapSource® MetroGuide Europe Version 5. Suitable for the following Garmin GPS units: eTrex Legend, eTrex Vista, eMap, Rino 120, GPSMAP76, GPSMAP76S, GPSMAP176, GPSMAP295, StreetPilot series. |
